It uses the Windows' NET SEND' command, you can thus send messages to anyone, even if they don' t have QuickMessenger.
QuickMessenger can also capture messages received by the' NET SEND' command ( Messenger Service Window ) in order to display incoming messages and you can then reply to your sender.
